A conceptual piece, looking at identity and the effect and development of materialism. More specifically, it looks at how materialistic attitudes shape our perceptions of others. For many people today, their perceptions on people are not gauged by who they are as a person, or their actions but by the clothes they wear and the materials they own, thus the people themselves are effectively invisible.
